In this course thirty-six international students from TU Wien (Institute of Spatial Planning, Centre of Regional Development), Belgrade University (Faculty of Geography) and from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (Institute of Management, Department of Spatial Planning) were working on 10 pilot areas in the city of Trenčín in the western part of Slovakia. Students were working in international teams and developed proposal for implementation of Positive Energy District concept for these pilot areas. The intention was to foster transformation in the dimensions of heat, electricity and mobility in real life situations. The workshop was done in hybrid way in which students met three times online before the physical workshop in Slovakia and afterwards the teams completed and submitted their assignments.
